Ephesians: Beyond What We Can Imagine
Speaker: Jerry Witham Series: Ephesians: The Church's Identity and Mission Topic: Church Passage: Ephesians 3:14–3:21
Ephesians 3.14-21: What’s the song or prayer in your heart this morning? We were made to sing a doxology. The question is, does our soul soar or sing for God like Paul’s did? Paul knows about the love and power of God, but he also knew what it was to experience the love and power of God in everyday life. He longed for the church to know this as well, which he prayed in chapter 1, but here in chapter 3 he wants the church to experience it daily beyond just intellectual knowledge, so that as His body we may be a corporate, visible and audible doxology to God (3.10). May we experience the power and love of God beyond what we think.
