Ephesians 5.22-33: As we continue in our series on Ephesians today, we look at the beautiful and purposeful relationship of marriage according to God’s desire. Remember from last week, that the church has been given commands, which are to be obeyed. The last one we looked at was, be filled with the Spirit. A result of the Spirit-filled life is being submissive to certain relationships we have. Paul is going to address three relationships as we move forward in the letter and today he begins with the marriage relationship. May we be challenged to have a biblical mindset when it comes to marriage and seek to obey the Lord in our marriage relationships as God controls and directs us.
