Today is Sanctity of Life Sunday. On this day each year we blow the trumpet for the unborn. So, on this day we pray that God our Creator will be glorified in His person-forming work in the womb, that Christ would be glorified in His forgiveness for the sin of abortion for all who repent and trust Him, that the thousands of women who find themselves in the threatening situation of an unplanned pregnancy in our world today would find the compassion of Christ’s people before they choose the horror of abortion, and that through Christ’s people there would be the loving commitment and message spread of the preciousness of God-given life.
