Advent begins today. Through the advent season we will be looking at the great truth and gift of “God with us” throughout the bible. We will see the reality of this throughout history and how it impacts us today. Last week, we saw the desire of God, our Maker to be with mankind from the beginning. Today, we see God being with Israel in the exodus from Egypt and how He fought for His people. This great exodus points to the exodus of Jesus which greatly affects us today.
