Wisdom

James 1.5-12: This week we come to the table again. The table is often the place where we share insight, lessons learned and wisdom. James calls us to grab a chair and lean in to listen to something we all need. Have you ever got that phone call that rattled you or maybe been close to someone else that has? It is one of those moments that you are lost on what to do. No doubt there have been circumstances of one degree or another that you have faced and didn’t know which way to turn. If you have been through such experiences or want to be prepared for them when they come then today’s scripture text is spot on. We need godly wisdom. Today we look at what wisdom is or better yet who wisdom is. We need this wisdom, our children need it and others we know. Let us learn to go to the source of wisdom today, so we can walk wisely and help others do so as well.
