A New Kind of Normal

If you were asked the question, Do you want to be normal – what would you say? You might think, of course I want to be normal, I don’t want to be weird. But think for a bit about what normal means. Normal is conforming to the standard of the common type. As followers of Christ we are called in Romans 12 to not be conformed to this world, but be transformed so we can live according to God’s will. We want our lives to be different than the normality of the world. You could say we want a new kind of normal, being different than the world and conforming to Christ and His ways. This applies to every area of our life. Today, we focus in on a new kind of normal for our money. How we handle our money is a discipleship issue. It is important. So, today we look at what a new kind of normal could be and at a great tool to help us get there as we look ahead.
