Ephesians: The Church is Important
Speaker: Jerry Witham Series: Ephesians: The Church's Identity and Mission Topic: Church Passage: Ephesians 3:1–3:13
Ephesians 3.1-13: Paul has declared who God is and who the chosen and redeemed are as the church (their identity). We learned last week the church is a new and diverse community of both Gentile and Jew. This week Paul continues with this theme revealing this great mystery of now equality shared among the redeemed Jew and Gentile because of the grace of God. Paul was called and commissioned to declared this message and God has called the church to make it know globally and even cosmically. The forming and faithfulness of the church is important to Paul and it should be just as important to us. Let’s be encouraged today by the apostle Paul’s example and truly live out the mission of God.
