Matthew: The Sign of Jesus Exalted as King
Speaker: Jerry Witham Series: Matthew's Gospel: The King and His Kingdom Topic: Judgment Passage: Matthew 24:15–24:35
Matthew 24.15-35: As we continue in our study of Matthew’s Gospel, we see Jesus’ prophecies concerning the destruction of Jerusalem and His second coming. Within His prophecies we see a call for His disciples then and now to trust in His authority. Jerusalem is going to be destroyed (and it has from where we currently stand) and Jesus is going to return. One has already been fulfilled and we can be assured of His Second Coming as well. So, as Christ’s disciples may we trust in the authority of Christ and His permanent Word.
