What does it mean to follow Jesus?

Series: The Gospel Topic: Gospel Passage: Luke 5:1–5:11

Most of us might say something like this. “A follower of Jesus gets up in the morning and has a quiet time of reading the Bible and praying; lives the rest of the day refraining from sin; attends church to worship, be inspired, get more Bible learning; attends LIFEgroup to connect with other Christians, get more Bible learning, and help each other with life; serves in some capacity at church; then repeat the process.” If most of us lived like that we would probably feel pretty good about ourselves and pretty good about standing before God.

Today we are going to explore Luke 5:1-11 and discover the key element of following Jesus is “fishing for men.”
