In communicating with other people, who wants to hear someone else brag about themselves all day long? How much more so when communicating with the holy God of the universe? Attitude in prayer is everything, and our attitude can reflect how high we think of ourselves, or how high we think of God. As we continue in our series on prayer we come to a parable with an important principle for believers to follow. In Luke 18:9-14, Jesus shares a parable about attitude and prayer. One attitude is self-righteous pride and arrogance, a blatant disregard for God's grace and sovereignty. The other attitude is humble, meek and repentant before a holy God. So the question is: which attitude do you take in prayer?
