A Great Mystery - Marriage

I am always amazed when I hear stories of couples who have been married for 50, 60 years and even more. But today, I am just amazed as I hear couples pass that 10 year mark and 20 year mark as well. Each year of marriage is a gift and we should treat it as a precious gift. Over the next four weeks we will look at what scripture calls, “a great mystery.” That is what Paul says marriage is, as he speaks of marriage having a greater purpose and mission than just simply being married. Over the next few weeks we will talk about having eternal mindedness when it comes to our marriages. So, whether you have been married 5 years or 30, let’s all look to God’s mission and purpose for our marriage and enjoy this great mystery.
