January 20 | Make Jesus Known
“For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities – all things have been created through Him and for Him.” Colossians 1.16

Reading: Colossians 1

All of creation was made by Jesus for His glory.  Everything in creation declares His praise.  We were made in the image of God (Genesis 1.27) and created with the great purpose of making Jesus known.  As followers of Jesus, let us passionately live out God’s great purpose for our life.

Prayer: Lord, help me daily to remember my purpose for living.  As I awake to the rising sun, as I walk outside to the rustling of leaves and to the beauty all around me may I not settle for creation declaring the greatness of Jesus, but that I would make Him known in all that I say and do.
