His Greatness and Grace

Series: Sacred Psalms Topic: Grace Passage: Psalm 113:1–9

Today we see Psalm 113 beginning and ending with a word of praise to God. The Psalmist calls on all servants to praise His name from all over the world from the East and West because the Lord is worthy! In this text, we see two main reasons to praise Him: His greatness and His grace toward us.

So, how do we see ourselves? Do we see ourselves in need of God and his goodness and grace or rich and self-sufficient? The truth is we all at times feel fearful, inadequate and insecure. Like Moses, we struggle with fears and insecurity. The enemy wants us to believe the lie that we are insignificant, unworthy and unloved. But God wants us to see ourselves through a different lens. He wants us to see ourselves the way He sees us. We serve the Great I AM and because He IS, we are! Praying today this text encourages you!
