Faithful Stewards

Luke 14.25-35: Over the last few weeks we have looked at our purpose (the glory of God) and focus as a church disciple (be one, make one). We have also looked at the marks or characteristics/values of a disciple: Love God and Love Others, Deny Self and Follow Jesus, Know Truth. Today we look at the last value, Faithful Stewardship. Sometimes when people hear the word stewardship they cringe because they think it is just going to be a money talk, but that is not what stewardship is all about. So, this morning we will look at the call of Jesus, the difference between ownership and stewardship and the three basic spheres of stewardship.
