Ephesians: A Life Worthy of Our Calling
Speaker: Jerry Witham Series: Ephesians: The Church's Identity and Mission Topic: Church Passage: Ephesians 4:1–4:6
Ephesians 4.1-6: As we look at today’s Scripture text, I want you to think about the great privilege and purpose of being a christian. For Paul, he saw his calling so great that he was willing to be imprisoned. Like Paul, we as Christians, must see the great privilege of being a child of God and as a result embrace the great responsibility of daily living according to the standard of our calling. God’s calling us unto salvation includes a call to a certain way of living. Crucial to this way of living is the unity of the body of Christ. So, today will look into what marks this way of living, which seeks to preserve the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
