Getting in Sync with God about marriage: Permanent Oneness
Speaker: Jerry Witham Series: Getting in Sync with God about Marriage Topic: Marriage Passage: Matthew 19:1–19:9
Last week, we heard from Jesus that the forgiveness of God is unlimited. With God as our model we are to forgive each other, just as God in Christ has forgiven us (Ephesians 4.32). When we apply this to marriage this can become challenging when sin occurs, when a spouse is not willing to change, even if adultery occurs and roadblocks that seem to be impassible come up. Today, we look at what God says about the permanence of the one flesh relationship that He has created to display His covenant, which He faithfully and graciously keeps with us.
