Getting in Sync with God About Marriage: Forgiving and Forbearing
Speaker: Jerry Witham Series: Getting in Sync with God about Marriage Topic: Marriage Passage: Matthew 18:21–18:35
Matthew 18.21-35: We have seen over the last two weeks that marriage is God’s doing and design set apart to display the relationship of Christ and the church. We have learned that disorder and brokenness has entered into the world due to sin and has most definitely affected the one flesh marriage relationship, as two very different and very imperfect people are brought together. There is conflict based on sin and differences that need to be forgiven and dealt with patiently. Today we look at the compassion and forgiveness of God as our model for how we are to forgive others and especially our spouse.
