Generous Living: Part 4

2 Corinthians 9.6-15: Over the last few weeks we have learned that the gospel has financial implications. Our Christian walk is not separated from our bank account. God has been financially gracious to us to meet our needs and for us to be generous to others. Today, we see that God takes great delight in replenishing the flow of generosity in the lives of cheerful givers. He uniquely loves those who freely, deliberately and joyfully give to help eliminate the needs of others instead of accumulating wealth for their own desires. Such giving brings thanksgiving and glory to God, but also links the body of Christ together in a special way. Let’s be thankful people today for this truly indescribable gift and seek to be like God in His generosity.
